Workers (Has been updated)

This article guides you on the basics of setting up your workers in reflection of your usage as an Expedo HR user.

Note that this article is suited to users with 'Company/Client' level access to Expedo HR, and NOT worker/manager level access

If you want to understand the company setup requirements as an Expedo Timesheets user, please see THIS article in ADDITION to this one.

The term ‘Workers’ are used in the system holistically to represent a natural person and any relevant details required by the company depending on their engagement style. Typically workers are one of the below two options, but check Marketplace - Engagement Tool for more information or clarity on these:

  • Employees - A worker who is employed by the employing entity (company) of which is found under the Company Details

  • Independant Contractors - A worker who services the ‘company’ but is engaged as a third party business to provide their products and/or labour. This person(s) do not fall under the direct employment of the company, however may still be required to perform onboarding and other functions within the Expedo HR ecosystem.
