Expedo Hire Terms
Admin: this role has full access to all the areas including the settings page.
Manager: this role has access to all the areas but the settings page. The HR manager role also has access to approval management. They can be assigned as an approver if required.
Line Manager: this role has access to only the jobs that they are invited to.
Candidate:
Resume (also called CV - curriculum vitae): a detailed document listed candidate’s employment history, education, certification and contact details.
Employment history: refers to information about candidate's past employers and companies he/she worked for, job titles and positions held, the dates of employment and attended duties.
Candidate skills match: the activity of calculating the percentage of matching skill tags of candidate with the job’s skill tags.
Project: a collection of jobs
Job: also prefer as Requisition, is a document used to request a hire, purpose, requirements and determine the budget available for the role by the department manager. This document will be submitted for approval.
Job Name: Name of the job
Position Category: each position coming from Expedo HR belong to a position category. It is similar to the concept of the sector in the job ad which is the required field from idibu (job board)
Position: each job needs to map with a position coming from Expedo HR so that Hire system can reuse the position’s description, requirements, responsibility provided by Expedo HR.
Job Applicant: the candidate applied for a job will be called as an applicant. The applicant details usually consist of a resume, cover letter and personal details of each candidate.
Job Ad: a public advertisement for a job vacancy with an intent to find job applications.
Sector: the industry where the job belongs to
Posting status: status of an ad.
Posted Date: when the job ad is posted to idibu
Expiry Date: when the job ad is expired on the job board
Job Board: is a website that posts jobs.
Job Order: a written authority given from HR department to recruiter agency to perform the outsourced recruitment work.
Offer Letter: an official document given from HR department to the new hire that provides key terms of the prospective employee's employment.
Invoice: is a document issued by a recruiter agency to HR department that indicates the quantities and costs of their recruitment service.
Onboarding
Placement: is the applicant who passed the hiring evaluation and about to be onboarded.
Talent Pool: is a database of candidate profiles interested in working for an organisation.
General talent pool: this talent pool is available for all company accounts in Expedo Hire. It store all the candidates added to the system and cannot be deleted.
Hiring Pipeline: maps out the sequence of the recruiting process, starting with receiving job applications and ending with onboarding the newly hired employee.
Custom Hiring Pipeline: the one user can create manually in the company settings.
Pipeline stage: the step of the pipeline
Pipeline stage type: In Expedo Hire, we have 2 stage type: non-custom and custom stage. By default all custom pipeline will have 8 non-custom stage which cannot be deleted.
idibu: a candidate attraction platform with multi-posting solution.
DaXtra: a CV parsing service that Expedo Hire is using to extract data from resume to candidate profile automatically.
